Portage Pea Project

The project entails using yellow peas to extract protein, starch and fibers to serve food, nutrition, health, and pharma markets. The facility will be the largest pea processing facility in the world. The project is designated as a Class 2 development under The Environment Act, Manitoba. Narratives Inc. was the environmental lead on the project and was responsible for development of applications and technical reports for environmental and municipal approvals, as well as stakeholder and indigenous engagement.
