Harmonized Impact Assessment – Phase 2

Niiwin Wendaanimok Partnership

April 2020 to Present

Project entails Phase 2 of the proposed twinning of Highway 17 across Manitoba and Ontario. The Harmonized Impact Assessment model created by the team is a unique approach rooted in the Manito Aki Inaakonigaawin (the Great Earth Law) and reflects the best practice principles of Impact Assessment as developed by the International Association for Impact Assessment. Phase 2 focuses on the twinning from Highway 673 eastward, approximately 9 km to Rush Bay Road.
