Project entails Phase 2 of the proposed twinning of Highway 17 across Manitoba and Ontario, being undertaken by the Niiwin Wendaanimok Partnership. Narratives’ role on the project is leading the Anishinaabe Aki Kakendamowin (“The Anishinaabe know our lands”), a study documenting historic and current land and resource use. Phase 2 focuses on the twinning from Highway 673 eastward, approximately 9 km to Rush Bay Road.
