Public Safety Communications Services

Bell MTS

March 2019 – May 2020

In August 2018, the Province of Manitoba announced replacement and provision of (where unavailable) of emergency communications towers in remote communities in Manitoba. The proposed infrastructure will replace the FleetNet system currently used by emergency and crisis response teams to respond in a timely fashion. Narratives’ role entailed assisting Bell MTS with engagement with indigenous communities who may have been interested and/or impacted by the proposed infrastructure.

A large metal communications tower stands in the center of the image. Two birds circle it. The sun is setting behind the clouds in the background.
